Student Ecosystem

It is that time of the year were people scurry around with books and their brain annihilating doubts.Wonder, why i never had that.Lab exams are galloping on the tracks and i dragoon my mind into some really unpleasant things like preparing for a test series and who invented this dreadful melange of grades and exams?Students get branded by ignonimous epithets from the always-kind-to-bright-students breed of teachers.Stealing doubts seems a good option for immersing those all-knowing-oracles into a whirlpool of swirling ice but when it backfires ,results are terrible and they often show up in the marksheet adorned with beautiful red calligraphy and the eversmiling dad transforms into a frankenstein's monster while signing the progress report.

I was always smart in getting my report card signed, when my dad is in utmost urgency and emergency like whenever he is quite intent on signing off quickly for office or attending a nature's call,I keep waiting for the precious moment as a predator would eye its prey and when the time comes 'shoot'!Throughout my schooldays my father has never been able to scold me successfully because of the tactics and crisis strategies mounted by me .

I'm proud to be called as a back bencher not for negative reasons but for some highly enriching experiences.Aim a rocket to a crest and there 'll be a whole commotion set in classroom and the teacher ll walkout saying "unless u accept who did this mischief ,i'm not gonna handle classes for u".Exactly, we wanted that and our mission is accompolished. The next few days ll be followed by a enquiry commission conducting its investigations probing for possible suspects who are on their payroll already.

The 'underdogs' in academics never get their place and usually get a lot of it outside the classroom. But in a sense i and my friends are fortunate enough to be unique individuals with out....standing credentials rather than the book paper eating mass who suffer with intellectual diarrohea all the time.I'm not tearing down the pure geniuses but contaminated ones who try to get into the sealed trademark mineral water bottles. Those who try to act and win favours by denigrating the qualities of others and employing some goddamned diplomacy to make 'em believe and validate their points.

I'm no champion of this cause but my focus is to pinpoint certain issues that shapes the framework of a budding mind and how it can be decieved by the mistaken illusion for conceiving it as reality.Marks are not yardsticks for measuring a student's performance but just a qualification for the person, how painstakingly he has taught the subject. It is disheartening to hear the number of suicides that are reported every year during the board exam results.

Partiality and discrimination always affect the free learning habits and the real disasters happen before the actual failures ,as the mind submits itself to fractured images and self destructive patterns by meek acceptance and a sense of resignation to fate that things are created to be the way it is.Parents ,play a crucial role during the formative years as they alone have a special way of assisting a kid with aplomb.

Comparison with siblings and cousins has given a notion that it fosters competence these days , but it saps all the creative juices by trying to adapt to a false persona. All of us have individual traits which cannot be compared to anyone else in the planet. Not all of us can be a michaelangelo or a beethoven but may be a cinch more than that in our own way and satisfaction.

If a student has to maintain balance in his ecosystem, remove all the bridles and take away the saddle and let them ride on their own without any guideposts and directions ,discovering the pleasure of discoveries. May it be love, pleasure,or pain allow them to have their say at it.Afterall we are born free why do we need shackles in the form of binding decisions from kith and kin?especially career selection in conservative families.

We are free horses drinking water from grass springs and we need to completely bask in the sunshine glory masked by the intermittent lapses of shining sword like clouds and given a chance, we are all set to conquer the frontiers. Please give us that little bit of beginner's luck.
